Jonathan Lee Recruitment exhibiting at #LCV2016
Exhibition: LCV SHOW 2016
Where:     Millbrook Proving Ground, Station Lane, Bedford MK45 2JQ, United Kingdom
When:      14th 15th September 2016

On 20 July 2016, the UK Parliament officially passed the government’s fifth carbon budget into law,
committing the UK to reducing emissions by 57% by 2032.  The newly formed department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy stressed that the EU's existing climate targets still apply to the UK following the referendum, and working with EU members to tackle emissions reduction is still a priority.

So it is timely that specialists from Jonathan Lee Recruitment’s automotive, truck & bus and transportation teams will be exhibiting at Cenex-LCV2016 on the 14th and 15th September 2016, providing advice and insight on how to attract, develop and retain the top talent needed to support low carbon initiatives.

LCV2016 will be the ninth in a series of national low carbon vehicle events run by Cenex at Millbrook Proving Ground, and encompasses a technology exhibition over three halls, as well as outdoor exhibition space for both static and ride & drive vehicles.

This business-to-business event is fully established in the motor industry events calendar and LCV2015 saw the highest visitor and exhibitor numbers to date, attracting 2,850 attendees and 211 exhibitors with more than 100 vehicles on display.  Sixty of these were available to ride and drive – making it the most comprehensive showcase for technologies and capabilities within the low carbon vehicle community.

Henry Noteman, Associate Director for Jonathan Lee comments, “We’ve attended the LCV Show for a number of years but with this year's event set to be the biggest and best yet and considering a critical skills shortage in the UK engineering market, we want to be on hand to talk to exhibitors and visitors about how they can maximise their access to the best people.  It’s also a great opportunity to see the latest innovations from a wide range of companies.”

The team will be on stand C2-30, why not pop by to discuss how we can help you.  Or alternatively, if you would like to make an appointment to speak to one of our consultants at the event, please call 01384 446120 or email
