Don't let age stop you!

I was heartened to see this story online about a 21 year old who is an operational commercial pilot.

"Martin Russell is thought to be Scotland’s youngest-ever commercial pilot and regularly takes the controls on flights to Europe and Africa.

Martin, from Barnton, Edinburgh, has been flying since he was 18 and got a job at Thomson Airways after an 18-month course to qualify for his commercial pilot’s licence.

The former Royal High School pupil had dreamed of being a pilot since he was a youngster watching jets heading in and out of Edinburgh Airport.

He now regularly takes charge of a Boeing 737 with almost 200 people on board."

This is wonderful to see and is a great lesson to all of us that age shouldn't matter. if you are dedicated to chasing your dreams. I think it's especially encouraging to see younger people going for jobs in aerospace and aviation.
