Automotive team to exhibit at the Powertrain Conference 2015

Future Powertrain Conference 2015Jonathan Lee Recruitment Automotive team is looking forward to exhibiting at the Future Powertrain Conference on the 25 - 26th February 2015 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull.

The Future Powertrain Conference 2015 (FPC2015) was successfully introduced in 2014 bringing together both academia experts and industry in the UK powertrain development field to present and discuss solutions to the challenges facing the industry over the next 10 years.

“The automotive sector is going through some significant changes” says Kevin Harris, Lead Consultant from Jonathan Lee Recruitment’s Automotive team. “The FPC2015 provides an excellent platform to discuss issues facing the sector and their impact to powertrain”.

Many important issues facing the industry will be discussed over the two day conference including, Energy Storage, Future Combustion Engines, Batteries, Emissions Control, Game Changers, Heavy Duty, Electric Machines & Power Electronics, Emerging Markets, Powertrain Control and Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Systems.

Keynote Speakers at the FPC2015 include Dr Lou Balmer-Millar, Director of Research & Advanced Engineering, Caterpillar Inc; Jo Lopes, Head of Technical Excellence, Jaguar Land Rover; Mark Mathieson, Chief Engineer Powertrain Research, McLaren and Malcolm Sandford, Managing Director, JCB.

The British Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Susan le Jeune d’ Allegeershecque will attend on Wednesday 25th February and Dr. Günter Fraidl, Senior Vice President, AVL will attend on Thursday 26th February. As part of the event on Wednesday 25th February, Tony Pixton, Chief Executive of the Advanced Propulsion Centre will host ‘The Value of Collaboration’.
