We are currently looking to expand our strong and loyal team of experts and currently have a vacancy within our EMC test team as follows;

Automotive Electrical / Electronic Engineer (EMC)

With over 50 EMC/RFI engineers and technicians we are able to offer an unparalleled EMC design and problem resolution service to our clients. Our aim is to ensure product compliance, reliability and quality.

Supporting long-term vehicle programs or where continuity of engineering resource is essential, the role of Automotive Electrical / Electronic Engineer will support all new client model ranges, in some cases, up to 2 years before public launch.

Working at the leading edge of vehicle development, this role represents a perfect opportunity to begin or develop a career in the field of EMC.

Situated at our client site in Cologne, Germany you will support our programme team of three engineers in Germany and three engineers in the UK.

This will include interfacing with suppliers to ensure that vehicle electronics are validated according to specification. You will also support vehicle build in preparation for test ensuring that all vehicle electrical/electronics are available and fitted as necessary.

You will be heavily involved in supporting the electrical/electronic design and sign off of vehicles and the preparation and generation of technical files for vehicle sign off processes.

This role will suit someone with a minimum two years experience within an automotive first tier supplier, ideally with an understanding of EMC test and test methods. Alternatively, we will consider a recent graduate in electronics or electrical engineering who is seeking to develop a career within automotive EMC test.

-You will have a minimum HNC (or equivalent) qualification in electronics or related subject
-You must also be fluent in German and English, particularly engineering and technical communications
-You must also be competent in Microsoft IT applications
-Some travel to the UK may also be required
